This was kind of a test-run with some yarn I had on hand. I'm still deciding about the sizing. Does it look like it would fit an infant? I think it looks too tall, like I could take out a row.
I really like making baby things- they're so small, fast, and cute. :)
i'm impressed! that is really cute! and i like the new look of your blog!
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is so nice! I'm looking for a pattern to crochet a baby hat, so thanks for the link. Not sure if it will be suitable though as we don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet.
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I just tried the same pattern but mine looks way to small. I love the white on white.
ReplyDeleteSo sweet! May look a little tall, but new little heads are often long. ~Kelly

Hat is sooo cute. Great job. I use this pattern also and it does fit a newborn. There are also patterns for 3-6 and 6-12 months. I actually add a flower that is a bit larger and use 2 strands of yarn rather than one, as called for in this pattern. If you are interested, you can see one worn by a 4 month old on my site: theroseyposey.com.
ReplyDeleteThe hat is really beautiful. I learned to crochet two years ago. I haven't made anything in a while but this project really inspired me. I am your latest follower. I would love for you to come and check out my blog and follow me back at www.diybydesign.blogspot.com. Thanks so much. Looking forward to keeping up with your blog.
