Cake in a Cup (no oven required!)

I found this recipe some time ago, and can't remember where I got it, although I did modify it a little bit- I think it called for ingredients I didn't have. I make it too often. It's so good. All you need is the ingredients, which are probably in your cupboard, a coffee mug, and a microwave. That's it.

Cake in a Cup Recipe

1/4 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1 egg
3 tbsp veggie oil
3tbsp milk

Add dry ingredients to microwaveable mug. Stir. Add egg, oil, and milk and mix well. Microwave for 3 minutes on high.

I recommend using a BIG mug for this. It'll pretty much double or triple in size in the microwave.

  12. Mega cool idea! I will give this a try to see how it goes. I was wondering, when you said a big mug, what do you mean larger than 12 oz?
