I found this recipe some time ago, and can't remember where I got it, although I did modify it a little bit- I think it called for ingredients I didn't have. I make it too often. It's so good. All you need is the ingredients, which are probably in your cupboard, a coffee mug, and a microwave. That's it.
Cake in a Cup Recipe
1/4 c flour
1/4 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cocoa
1 egg
3 tbsp veggie oil
3tbsp milk
Add dry ingredients to microwaveable mug. Stir. Add egg, oil, and milk and mix well. Microwave for 3 minutes on high.
I recommend using a BIG mug for this. It'll pretty much double or triple in size in the microwave.
Thanks! Can't wait to try it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure my baking instructor would consider this complete sacrilege but I think I'll try it out anyways.

Mega cool idea! I will give this a try to see how it goes. I was wondering, when you said a big mug, what do you mean larger than 12 oz?
