This isn't a groundbreaking project, but sometimes the easy ones are the best ones. Ignore the plaster issues on the wall, that's just part of the..charm...of this apartment.
I started with this bulletin board strip that I randomly picked up for 50 cents at St. Vincent de Paul.
The floral print is actually ribbon from my stash. I didn't even cut or trim it; I thought it was a pretty good width for the bulletin board strip. I held it on with some fancy pushpins, which also hold up the necklaces. There you go- super easy necklace holder. Use any kind of ribbon, fabric, or paper to customize!
Are you excited yet to move into a new apartment? Shabby-chic IS the new thing, you know!
ReplyDeleteOr pretend you are in "Wall Street" and that's how your interior decorator/hooker-girlfriend intended it.
That's a very cute project!!! My sister would LOVE this! She has a TON of jewelry and is always complaining about how hard it is to keep necklaces apart. So glad I stopped by here today!
ReplyDeleteI'm "finally" (ducks head in shame at delay) following you back!! Thanks for coming by my blog!
