Sweet Deals

I'm usually very money-conscious, but I am such a sucker for a good deal that just have to share this week's good finds with you all. Look at these red polka dot heels I found at Goodwill!

Pretty sweet, and for 3.99, too. The weather's getting colder, so I'm not sure how much wearability they'll have for a while. Maybe I can just wear them with jeans, at least for a little while longer.

My other deal's not a thrift store find, but I'm super stoked about it. I love big headbands and fascinators, and I'd been eyeing up this one at Urban Outfitters for quite a while. But $25 for something that I'm not entirely sure when to wear was a bit steep.

But the last time I was there, it was marked down to $5, so I scooped it up. So far, I've worn it to the grocery store, just for kicks. Any suggestions for how to build an outfit around something like this? Let me know.

Today I've got more thrifting on the agenda. On the list is supplies for lots of crafts that I've got in mind, Halloween costume materials, and sweaters for all the great upcycling tutorials everyone's been posting. Hopefully they'll crop up in future posts!
