Applique
In addition to recently picking up a little bit of embroidery skills, I've also taken on some applique. I'm taking on an involved top-secret Christmas present right now and learning as I go. Hopefully I'll have some update pictures soon! In the meantime, check out this awesome hand applique tutorial at Patchwork Posse's blog.
Oh my goodness... hand applique sounds so intimidating! I usually do mine by machine. I did a machine applique tutorial a few months ago if you're interested - but if you prefer to do yours by hand, I'm just even more impressed by you!
