Cardigan Addiction

I wasn't planning on posting today. But then I tackled the pile of clothes that's been building up on various pieces of furniture in my room. Yes, it's pretty cluttered around here.

I remember telling my friends about two years ago that I wanted a cardigan in every color...and since then I've accumulated lots, mostly through thrifting and donations. I can't turn them down! They're so versatile and easily adjusted when they don't fit.

These are all cardigans. Please ignore how badly they're folded.
That's not even including the one I'm wearing. And the two in my project bin waiting to be repaired. And the white one I accidently turned pink in the wash. I still don't have one in every color, though! No oranges or yellows in there...yet. But I think I'll be doing some weeding in the coming weeks...

  1. That's how am too! I have yellow, 3 blue, 2 black, 2 pink (the same cardigan exactly, but in two sizes-both from the thrift store), white, and 2 gray. Everytime I see one I can't pass it up!! They're perfect to just throw over any outfit and run out the door!

  3. Hah, and all *I've* been doing this year is complaining that I don't have ANY cardigans and/or hoodies. I either need to learn to sew faster or get myself to Goodwill.

I do love those colors, though!

  4. That's awesome! I get all excited when I spot a cardigan in a thrift shop too ;) My hubby laughs at me now when I find another one (my pile's definitely not as large as yours, but.. I wouldn't mind it to be!)I just LOVE them!!

  5. You so can't do any weeding! Cardigans are a total essetial. I'd say to hit up a few of of Grosgrain's tutorials and revamp them.
Ps--I want my pile to be as big as yours ;)
